The Taipei Forum on Startup for SDGs convenes visionary youth, social entrepreneurs, and global changemakers to reimagine how startup innovation can advance the Sustainable Development Goals. Rooted in Taipei’s dynamic spirit, the forum serves as a launchpad for youth-led ventures that tackle local and global challenges with purpose and scalability. Through immersive dialogue and practical workshops on impact investment, participants will explore how capital can align with values—turning bold ideas into sustainable impact. This is more than a gathering; it is a movement to ignite SDG-driven startups and equip the next generation to lead with both conscience and creativity.

Commencing with distinguished keynote addresses, this session will introduce our Keynote Speakers and welcome International Youth Representatives from around the world. The Sustainable Innovation Salon will follow—a high‑level dialogue on “Empowering Youth on SDGs Startups”.

Startups will also receive tailored guidance on adapting their innovations for international markets.

Followed by keynote insights on Taiwan’s evolving job landscape in sustainability and innovation, and a series of talks exploring skill demands, sector trends, and pathways for youth engagement.

Exceptional International and Taiwanese Youth Representatives will deliver rapid‑fire, six‑minute presentations spotlighting their real‑world SDG initiatives and entrepreneurial breakthroughs. Conducted in parallel breakout sessions (and livestreamed), this showcase promotes peer‑to‑peer learning, fosters multi‑sector collaboration, and accelerates innovative problem‑solving.

Young delegates will take the stage to present their entrepreneurial proposals addressing key SDGs. These proposals tackle real-world challenges sourced from diverse global contexts, offering participants a broadened and international perspective. Each presentation will be followed by interactive discussions with a panel of experts—comprising scholars, social innovation practitioners, and startup mentors—who will provide feedback and guidance. Select teams may also receive ongoing mentorship and support beyond the Forum, fostering long-term impact and collaboration.

Culminating in the formal presentation of the Taipei Youth Declaration—a testament to our collective commitment to openness, diversity, and inclusion—this session invites delegates to read the Declaration in their native languages, underscoring our global unity. Following its submission to COP30, awards will be conferred, reflections shared, and the Forum will conclude with a memorable closing gala.

Impact Action Showcase: Publication of an eBook and multimedia album featuring selected "6-minute Impact Action" presentations from 60 youth teams, highlighting their community-based SDG solutions.

Hackathon Prototypes & SDG Business Models: Innovative ideas co-created during the SDGs Biz Idea Hack, with top teams pitching scalable, sustainability-driven business models to expert panels.

The Solution Book: Global Youth Solutions for 2030 (in development) A policy- and action-oriented publication showcasing co-created solutions from the forum, aimed at corporate and public stakeholders.
